Shalom y'all! 

Welcome to GoldieLox! A nod to two things close to my heart; Golda Meir and that good ol' smoked fish.

The idea for Goldielox first came to me when I was putting together my wedding registry and realized I didn't love any of the judaica on the market. I wanted pieces for our home that were beautiful and fun but also had the quality to be an heirloom some day. 

Just before we got married, my husband and I moved from Boston to Dallas and I was introduced to the game of mahjong by my mother-in-law. I quickly realized that the Jewish community in Dallas - and across North America - has a deep love and connection to this special, Chinese game. 

I set out to learn everything I could about mahjong and its history and created the Menschie Mahjong set - a Jewish themed set of mahjong tiles that I hope honors both the Chinese origins of the game and the Jewish celebration of it. 

We also  have a few other products that I hope bring you as much joy as they have for me!
